A Seminar Titled “Arabic Language: Between Theory and Practice”

The Cultural Club at the Deanship of Student Affairs of Al Ain University (Abu Dhabi Campus) organized a seminar entitled “Arabic Language: Between Theory and Practice,” presented by Dr. Mohammed Al-Hourani, Director of the Arabic Language and Islamic Studies Programs. The seminar, held in Al Dhafra Hall, targeted university students and faculty members, with a large number of attendees actively participating.
The seminar focused on discussing linguistic development theories, including Dr. Al-Hourani’s theory on the origins of the Arabic language. It also covered key concepts in grammar and syntax, clarified foundational principles for understanding and applying grammatical rules, and highlighted common mistakes in language usage and spelling. The interactive discussions during the seminar contributed to correcting prevalent linguistic errors among students, achieving the event’s goal of improving their understanding and application of the Arabic language.
