Admission Requirements
Holder of High School Certificates
College of Engineering
- UAE Secondary school Certificate (Science/advanced) or, its equivalent approved by the UAE Ministry of Education, with a minimum average of 80%, OR 90% for the General track, OR 75% in (Elite).
- A valid English Language Proficiency Certificate in one of the below certificates or its equivalent, at least as the following:

- Or the student's score in the university entrance exam administered by the Ministry, passing (Grade C) or higher. If the student does not achieve the required grade, they must take a remedial course (related to the required subject) for a duration of (3) hours in the enrollment semester, which will not be counted in the cumulative GPA.

EmSAT TOEFL ITP IELTS Academic 1100 500 5 - Students who have obtained a Secondary School Certificate with (less than 60%) may be accepted, provided they enroll in (3) remedial courses for one semester from outside the program curriculum, which will not be counted in the cumulative GPA. The selection of these courses is based on the specialization and relevant grades in high school and includes subjects such as; (Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Arabic Language, and English Language).
College of Law
- UAE Secondary school Certificate or its equivalent approved by the UAE Ministry of Education, with a minimum grade of 75% for the Science/advanced track, or 80% for the General track, or 70% for Elite.

Holder of Technical Certificate
Students must have Technical Certificate from the UAE or its equivalent approved by the UAE Ministry with a minimum average of 60%.
Students with Diploma degrees
- A Certificate equivalent to the diploma issued by the UAE Ministry of Education if a diploma is issued from outside the UAE.
Students transferring from other educational institutions
- The university to be transferred from is accredited by the Ministry of Education in the United Arab Emirates.
- If a student is studying at a University from outside the UAE, the transcript must be certified by the Foreign Ministry of that country and by the Embassy of UAE.
- Students must have successfully completed at least 9 credit hours in the previous university or college.
- Students must be enrolled in a regular full-time study program in the previous university or college.
- Students must meet the admission requirements of both Al Ain University and the relevant College in order to join.
Visiting Students
Students must submit an official letter from the original University providing a list of the courses in which a student is allowed to register.
