College of Pharmacy
General Admission Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or its equivalent is approved by the UAE Ministry of Education with a minimum (GPA) of (3 out of 4) point scale, or its equivalent on the Bachelor's level.
- A valid English Language Proficiency Certificate in one of the below certificates or its equivalent, at least as the following:

Conditional Requirements
- If in possession of one of the following certificates (IELTS 5.5, PBT 530, iBT 71 or CBT 197, EmSAT 1250) or equivalent, provided that: At the end of the first semester of the program, the student will achieve at least a mark (EmSAT 1400), TOEFL 550 or (IELTS 6) or equivalent exams.
If a holder of a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of (2.5 to 2.99 out of 4) or equivalent, and meets the English language condition, he should:
- Register in no more than (9) credit hours of courses studied for the graduate program during the conditional acceptance period.
- Achieve at least (3 out of 4) or equivalent, in the first semester of study. Otherwise dismissed from the program.
If a holder of a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of (2 to 2.49 out of 4) or equivalent, and meets the English language condition, he should:
- Register in no more than (9) credit hours as remedial prepration for the graduate program. These remedial courses are not for credit within the degree program.
- Achieve at least (3 out of 4) or equivalent, in the first semester of study. Otherwise dismissed from the program.
- (2.5 out of 4) or equivalent, he/she will be considered for admission if he /she has achieved a maximum of nine graduate-level credit hours as remedial preparation for the graduate program. These remedial courses are not for credit within the degree program. The student must achieve a minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale, or its established equivalent, in these nine credits of remedial courses in order to progress to the graduate program or be subject to dismissal.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BPharm or BSc) from a University/Institute recognized by UAE with a minimum GPA of (3 out of 4-point scale.
- A valid English Language Proficiency Certificate in one of the below certificates or its equivalent, at least as the following:

- A Bachelor’s degree in any discipline or area of study (1) After taking 6 remedial courses in Law (over 2 semesters). (2) Subject to meeting other admissions requirements.

- Bachelor degree in Arabic Language Education degree or Arabic Language and Islamic Studies Teacher Education degree, or Arabic Language degree approved by the UAE Ministry of Education with a minimum (GPA) of (3 out of 4).
- A valid English Language Proficiency Certificate in one of the below certificates or its equivalent, at least as the following:
EmSAT TOEFL IELTS Academic 950 450 4.5 - Obtain an Arabic Language Proficiency certificate (EmSAT) with a score not less than (1250).
Conditional Requirements
If a holder of a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of (2.5 to 2.99 out of 4) or equivalent, he should:
- Register in no more than (9) credit hours of courses studied for the graduate program during the conditional acceptance period.
- Achieve at least (3 out of 4) or equivalent, in the first semester of study. Otherwise dismissed from the program.
If a holder of a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of (2 to 2.49 out of 4) or equivalent, he should:

- Bachelor degree in Islamic Teacher Education degree or Arabic Language and Islamic Studies Teacher Education degree or Islamic Education approved by the UAE Ministry of Education with a minimum (GPA) of (3 out of 4).
- A valid English Language Proficiency Certificate in one of the below certificates or its equivalent, at least as the following:
EmSAT TOEFL IELTS Academic 950 450 4.5 - Obtain an Arabic Language Proficiency certificate (EmSAT) with a score not less than (1250).
Conditional Requirements
If a holder of a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of (2.5 to 2.99 out of 4) or equivalent, he should:

For Arabic taught curriculums:
To be admitted into the Professional Diploma in teaching program, the applicant must have:
- A Bachelor's degree or it's equivalent approved by the UAE Ministry of Education, with a minimum (GPA) of (2 out of 4), or its equivalent on the Bachelor's level.
- Obtain an Arabic language proficiency certificate (EMSAT) with a score not less than (1250).
- A valid English Language Proficiency Certificate in one of the below certificates or its equivalent, at least as the following:
EmSAT TOEFL ITP IELTS Academic 950 450 4.5 - A certificate of equivalency is issued by the Ministry of Education in the UAE. In case the bachelor certificate is issued from abroad
For English taught curriculums:
- A Bachelor's degree or it's equivalent approved by the UAE Ministry of Education, with a minimum (GPA) of (2 out of 4), or its equivalent on the Bachelor's level.
- A valid English Language Proficiency Certificate in one of the below certificates or its equivalent, at least as the following:
EmSAT TOEFL ITP IELTS Academic 1400 550 6 - A certificate of equivalency is issued by the Ministry of Education in the UAE. In case the bachelor certificate is issued from abroad
College of Business
General Admission Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree or it's equivalent approved by the UAE Ministry of Education, with a minimum (GPA) of (3 out of 4), or its equivalent on the Bachelor's level.
- A valid English Language Proficiency Certificate in one of the below certificates or its equivalent, at least as the following:

Conditional Requirements

- Achieve at least EmSAT (1400) or (550 in TOEFL) or (6 in IELTS) by the end of the first semester of the master’s program.
- Register in no more than (6) credit hours in the first semester of enrollment.
- Achieves a GPA of at least (3 of 4)
If a holder of a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of (2.5 to 2.99 out of 4) or equivalent, and meets the English language condition, he should:
- Register in no more than (9) credit hours of courses studied for the graduate program during the conditional acceptance period.
- Achieve at least (3 out of 4) or equivalent, in the first semester of study. Otherwise dismissed from the program.
If a holder of a bachelor’s degree with a GPA of (2 to 2.49 out of 4) or equivalent, and meets the English language condition, he should:
- Register in no more than (9) credit hours as remedial prepration for the graduate program. These remedial courses are not for credit within the degree program.
- Achieve at least (3 out of 4) or equivalent, in the first semester of study. Otherwise dismissed from the program.
Non-Business Administration Bachelor’s graduates are accepted, provided that:
- The student studies a maximum of 4 remedial courses decided by the department. The student can be exempted from all remedial subjects if they have been studied in the Bachelor level.
Transfer from Another University
- Admission terms mentioned for Bachelor's degree holders.
- Student has studied courses at the postgraduate level and with grade not less than B.
- Content of the courses studied by the student is similar to the courses offered by the university, determining this by looking at the descriptions of the courses.
- The number of credit hours transferred from the previous university shall not exceed 9 credit hours.
Admission of Visiting Students
- An official letter from student’s home university pointing out the courses that the student may register for in the program.
Admission of listener Students
- The student must get the approval of the dean of the College and the coordinator of the master's program.
