Saeed Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan attended the “Giving Nation” initiative and a distinguished participation for AAU

Under the patronage of HE Sheikh Saeed Bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Al Ain University participated in the initiative “Giving Nation, In all languages of the world”, organized by Abu Dhabi Tourism and Culture Authority, Egyptian Club, Souq Al Qatara and Al Awael Private School. The initiative was held in Souq Al Qatara, Al Ain in line with the initiative of HH Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan –The UAE President- to make the year 2017 a “Year of Giving”.
Within 20 government and private foundations, Al Ain University participated by providing student’s products whose Proceeds back to the Emirates Red Crescent. The event also included blood and money donation, care for people with special needs, in addition to different folklore shows.
For her part, Dr. Ibtehal Aburezeq –Dean of Student Affairs- expressed her pleasure to support this initiative which calls for spreading charity work culture, she added that the AAU’s participation comes in order to the UAE President instructions to launch the year 2017 as a Giving Year, stressing on the university’s keen on the contribution to serve the nation and support the giving journey in the giving nation.
At the end of the event, Al Ain University honored with a memorial shield in recognition of its efforts in support of the initiative.
