Health Events on World Heart Day

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University, in cooperation with Burjeel Royal Hospital, organized a health event at the university's Al Ain campus to celebrate World Heart Day. Several academics, administrators, and a group of university students interested in health attended the event. The event included free medical check-ups, such as blood pressure, glucose, cholesterol measurements, and body mass index assessments. A nutritionist also provided tips on maintaining an ideal weight, explained the impact of weight gain on heart health, and offered guidance on preventing heart disease. After the event, gifts were distributed to the attendees, and the participating organization was honored for their contribution. Everyone praised the efforts to raise health awareness and emphasize the importance of maintaining heart health.
