AAU President participates in the Arab-Euro Conference

In the context of its concern to consolidate internal and external relations with various institutions, Prof. Ghaleb El Refae –President of Al Ain University- represented the university by participating in the 4th Arab-Euro Conference on Higher Education (AECHE 4), which was held in Mohammed V University of Rabat – Morocco, under the slogan “Research for Sustainable Societies: The Role of Universities”, in cooperation with the Association of Arab Universities and European University Association.
The aim of this conference is to facilitate and to stimulate collaboration between universities in European and Arab countries at an, institutional, departmental, faculty level along with students and scientific research.
The main idea of the conference is to discuss the universities role in research for Sustainable Societies by focusing on the scientific research quality, community engagement activities and the importance of Graduate Studies offered by universities in sustainable development.
Prof. El Refae commented: “This conference is to promote cooperation aspects between European and Arab universities in education and scientific research fields, where the research has a huge role in achieving the sustainable development”, stressing on the keenness of Al Ain University to provide all facilities related to research, Which will achieve the vision of Al Ain University for Science and Technology to meet the highest international standards in the quality of education and scientific research.
