AAU Family Celebrate the Emirati Women's Day

The Deanship of Student Affairs at Al Ain University (Abu Dhabi Campus) organized an event on the occasion of Emirati Women’s Day. The event included providing various activities and souvenirs to a group of Emirati female students in appreciation of their efforts and effective contributions in various fields.
In turn, Dr. Noha Hamada, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, offered a greeting of thanks and appreciation to Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, “Mother of the Emirates,” the pioneer of the renaissance of Emirati women. She also expressed the most sincere and deepest feelings of appreciation and gratitude to Emirati women for their achievements in various fields of life, including the field of volunteer work, which has become a way of life and style that characterizes the Emirati society.
She added that Emirati women followed the path of the founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, may God have mercy on him, and sought to achieve his vision to serve the future of the UAE. She innovated, shone, and distinguished herself as a leader, minister, scientist, engineer, and doctor, in addition to her role as a wife and a mother.
Al Ain University’s celebration of Emirati Women’s Day coincides with the importance of women’s role in supporting development and contributing to the country’s renaissance, and in appreciation of their efforts and constant endeavor to do more for the benefit of the nation’s future.
